ED 103 E PORTFOLIO OF SCRIBBLERS

Assessment is the fundamental element in the general quality of teaching and learning in higher education. Well designed assessment sets clear expectations, establishes a reasonable workload (one that does not push students into rote reproductive approaches to study), and provides opportunities for students to self-monitor, rehearse, practice and receive feedback. Assessment is a fundamental factor of a coherent educational experience. However, teachers do not only assess students to impart what the lessons are all about, assessing students is something deep and valuable; because in every excellent students requires a well furnished character otherwise, excellence will be considered as nothing.
